Parts from FAG
Durable ball and wheel bearings from FAG Kugelfischer are an ideal choice for quality-conscious motorbike and moped enthusiasts. Precisely manufactured, they guarantee excellent and smooth running properties.
Solid, robust and efficient
Unfortunately, it is not only long-serving mopeds that occasionally suffer bearing damage. An unmistakable sign that it is time to replace the ball or wheel bearings is a rattling noise or a noticeable increase in friction on the wheel axles. It is always worth opting for quality when replacing bearings. Top quality is guaranteed from the manufacturer FAG. High-quality ball bearings from FAG ensure smoother running, increase driving safety and noticeably reduce frictional resistance. That is why we have included the high-quality ball and wheel bearings from FAG in our range for you and, as usual, offer them at an attractive price.
Precise storage technology for the highest demands
FAG Kugelfischer brand ball bearings have always been characterised by their high precision and extremely smooth running. Thanks to the continuous further development of its products, the company has been able to successfully assert itself on the market for many decades. Continuous optimisation of the materials used and the production technology ensure that the brand's wheel and ball bearings meet the highest standards. Numerous two-wheeler manufacturers therefore equip their vehicles with FAG bearing technology at the factory. The bearing variants with contact seals on both sides are particularly interesting for experienced mechanics. These seals on the wheel bearing ensure that the inside of the bearing is optimally protected against brake dust and other contamination. This increases the service life of the ball bearings enormously.
High-quality wheel bearings and ball bearings since 1883
The traditional manufacturer FAG Kugelfischer was founded in 1872 by Friedrich Fischer. In its early years, the company specialised in repairing sewing machines and bicycles. In 1883, the company founder developed a special ball grinding machine that enabled the production of high-quality rolling bearings. Even then, the brand's bearings were characterised by their high quality. After just a few years, FAG operated several ball mills in Schweinfurt in order to meet the increasing demand for bearings. In 1909, the two companies Schäfer and Fischer merged and from then on traded together under the name FAG, while production increasingly focussed on the manufacture of high-quality ball bearings. After the Second World War, FAG experienced an enormous upswing, primarily due to the boom in the automotive industry, and expanded its production facilities. In the years that followed, the company grew into a global corporation with more than 30,000 employees before it was finally taken over by INA-Holding Schaeffler KG in 2001.
