Chrome-plated, robust, rust-free: stylish moped spokes from WWS
Perhaps a little playful, but somehow magical and incredibly aesthetic: spoked rims on your moped inspire with every turn. Admittedly, spoked moped wheels are not as easy to maintain as cast rims and are also somewhat more susceptible to damage. But if you like to keep an eye on every moped ride, then the extra effort is worth it. Top quality, stylish design and authentic retro charm - that's what the rim spokes and spoke nipples from the well-known traditional manufacturer WWS stand for. Whether you need to replace individual spokes or want to completely re-spoke a rim, in our range you will find WWS spokes as practical sets and in all standard inch sizes at a fair price.
Rim spokes with the world-famous cloverleaf embossing
The trademark of WWS products is the distinctive and world-famous cloverleaf embossing. Visually, the WWS spokes on your moped are always an absolute eye-catcher. Spokes with the four-leafed lucky charm are world-famous above all for their unique quality. They are made of high-quality chrome steel and are therefore resistant to corrosion and weathering. For you, this means that you don't have to worry about your spoke rims even if you don't get round to cleaning them immediately after a long tour. You can find chrome steel spokes from the German manufacturer to fit your Perle in all standard inch sizes, individually and as affordable sets. Of course, you'll also find matching spoke nipples and the tools you need to start spoking your wheels right away.
World-famous quality from the traditional manufacturer in Koblenz
WWS Speichen was founded in 1885 in Altena in Westphalia, Germany, as a wire drawing company. In the early years, the company specialised in metal furniture and springs. As the demand for wire-spoked wheels grew steadily during this time, WWS increasingly focussed on the production of high-quality spokes in the following decades. The now world-famous cloverleaf embossing was also introduced during these years. Thanks to the top quality of its products, the company expanded and soon became one of the leading manufacturers of wire spokes in Europe. The spokes with the cloverleaf, produced in various inch sizes, soon became synonymous with indestructible quality and were also in great demand from manufacturers of bicycles and motorised two-wheelers worldwide. As a result, WWS was soon producing high-quality rim spokes at several locations and with more than 3,500 employees. These were initially only distributed by Wilh. Berg Altena i. Westf. and later by the so-called "Berg-Union". To this day, WWS stands for unique quality. Although the cloverleaf was not allowed to be used for trademark reasons from 1996 to 2007, it now adorns all WWS spokes products again after the current owner bought back these rights. Then as now, the cloverleaf stands for outstanding quality.
