The rollers are embedded in a silver-plated steel bearing block. The silver-plated bearing block has the following advantages:
- Oil film adheres better to the surface
- Better heat dissipation
- Lower wear properties
Caution: For crankshafts with pressed-in connecting rod bushes, a needle roller and cage assembly cannot be used subsequently.
