In addition to many universal parts, the brand also offers various type-specific components - for Piaggio mopeds, for example. CEV headlights are available from us in round and square designs and in various colours to match your moped. They are characterised by their high-quality workmanship and appearance, which prompted many moped manufacturers in the past to equip their vehicles with CEV components ex works. Smaller electrical components were also part of CEV's product range back then and are still available from us today in the usual high quality. These include, for example, rear lights, light switches, reflectors, headlight rings and short-circuit switches in different versions to suit your moped.
Legendary traditional company for electronic components
The CEV company was founded in 1937. It emerged from the company Fratelli Pagani Spa, the first Italian manufacturer of batteries. The newly founded company initially focussed on the production of electronic components for the increasingly important aviation industry. Just a few years later, instruments, electronic components and lights for motorised two-wheelers were also added to the product range. When the moped began its triumphal march on the roads of Europe, more than one moped from well-known manufacturers such as Piaggio was fitted with a front lamp or ignition lock from the Italian brand ex works. In the decades that followed, the company underwent several reorganisations. Today, CEV is still an internationally recognised name, but now mainly produces lighting components and electronic circuits for the automotive sector.
