Shaft seal ring with PTFE (Teflon) sealing lip measuring 17x35x8 mm for use in various mopeds / mopeds.
Among other things, the oil seal is used in Minarelli AM 3/4/5/6 engines.
This radial shaft seal with the high-tech material fluorocarbon rubber (FKM) outer jacket is resistant up to a temperature of 200°C, and even up to 220°C for short periods.
Customary NBR oil seals are temperature-resistant up to 100°C.
FKM radial shaft seals (also known as Viton) are particularly suitable for racing, as they are designed for higher speeds and can therefore withstand higher temperatures.
The radial shaft seal has an additional sealing lip made of PTFE, a material with high thermal resistance which does not interact with the lubricant and can therefore withstand the highest loads.
