Airsal guarantees quality and innovation
Whether individual gaskets, aluminium cylinders, complete sets or individual pistons, the products from Airsal are characterised by an outstanding combination of quality and innovation. For the production of its high-performance tuning cylinders, the company uses high-quality aluminium alloys whose formulation is ideal for extreme thermal loads. In addition, the Spanish tuning forge provides some cylinders with a Scanimet® coating. This is a patented nickel-silicon carbide compound that represents the state of the art. This coating ensures particularly low friction values, which protects the cylinder and increases its service life. The coating also optimises engine performance. Despite the innovative technologies used by the company in production, Airsal offers its parts for tuning and racing at extremely attractive prices.
Over 30 years of experience in tuning and racing sports
The Spanish company Airsal was founded in 1986 in Centelles, a small town near Barcelona. Initially, the brand focussed on the development and manufacture of cylinders for mopeds and two-wheelers up to 125 cc. Initially, the parts were still made of steel, as was customary at the time. At that time, the company limited its activities to the Spanish market. Over time, however, the company specialised in the manufacture of high-quality aluminium cylinders and tuning parts, which were very popular in the racing scene. This helped the company achieve an international breakthrough and soon cylinders and tuning parts were being sold throughout Europe and even worldwide. Today, the brand produces around 14,000 racing cylinders per year and also offers numerous other add-on parts for your moped.
