Ball bearing for countershaft for manually shifted Sachs mopeds / mopeds with engines of the 50/2, 50/3, 50/4, 503 2AL, 2BL series
The conical bearing impresses with its perfect and flawless quality. Special attention was paid to the following points:
- Bearing play: As it should be, the bearing has slight play when removed; when pressed in, the play is reduced to a minimum
- Ball raceway: In contrast to original or reproduction bearings, the ball raceway has raised shoulders, which gives the bearing additional stability for axial forces, for example with reinforced clutch springs (swiing springs or Panzer springs)
- Smooth running: The raceway of the balls is absolutely smooth and guarantees «chatter-free» noiseless running
- Perfect concentricity: No more oblique bores that cause the bearing to run out of round
- Cleanly ground and matching cone
Installation tips:
- To ensure that the clutch basket does not have too much play, it is important that the bearing sleeve on the countershaft and the bearing bushes for the countershaft in the housing are not worn. These can be found under accessories.
- Axial play of the countershaft: 0.05-0.10 mm
- Tightening torque of the clutch basket nut (M20.8x1): 22 Nm
- Heat the housing to 80 °C, so the bearing can be placed in the housing and shrunk in without pressing
